Princeton Luxury Home Residential Communities
The Western Section:
Arguably one of the most famous sections of real estate in Princeton, the ‘Western Section’ offers some
of Princeton’s finest homes. Known for such streets as Library Place, Stockton Lane, Cleveland Lane,
Hodge Road and Boudinot Street the homes in the Western Section exude a combination of elegance,
classic architecture and history.
The home styles range from stately Colonials,
Victorians and Tudors
offering a nice range of housing styles.
Regardless of the home style the neighborhood is marked by
impeccable lawns and a short walk to downtown Princeton. Any discriminating home buyer will want to
include Princeton’s western section as part of their tour.
The Hun School/ Edgerstoune Neighborhood:
Located just off of Stockton Street heading west out of downtown Princeton the Hun
neighborhood's
most distinctive characteristic feature is the fact that is serves as the host neighborhood to
the prestigious
Hun School.
A private school which is a coed school from elementary
through high school was founded in 1914 and moved to it's current location in 1920.
The housing style in the Hun neighborhood is mixed
though ranges from large ranches to the now more common modern estate homes.
The neighborhood
has large lots making it attractive to builders and buyers alike.
Due to its location the Hun section has a secluded feel and offers its residents
both solitude and a sense of community. A short trip to downtown Princeton makes this a great
neighborhood for the luxury buyer.
Rushbrook:
The Institute Area:
As if having a connection with Princeton University were not enough Princeton is also home
to the Institute
for Advanced Study.
Founded in 1930 and serving as a research institute, past faculty has included Albert Einstein and Robert Oppenheimer.
The homes in this neighborhood range from the modest to the
stately.
Located in the southwest corner of Princeton, the Institute is bordered to the west by the
Institute and to the east by the prestigious Springdale Golf Club.
The dramatic tree lined streets bring
the visitor back to a neighborhood that time forgot, tree lined streets, gracious homes, beautiful
yards and distinctive sense of history. The Institute is an easy walk to Princeton University and the western
edge of Nassau Street.
Ettl Farm:
Ettl Farm was built by Toll Brothers in 1995. Since that time Ettl Farm
has taken it's place as one
of Princeton’s most desirable luxury neighborhoods.
Ettl Farm has 117 homes and a distinctive sense
of community. As the lots are not overly large, there is a sense of closeness within this enclave of large
colonial homes located off of Rosedale Road.
The homes are large but not overly so and have the high
ceilings and modern finishes today’s discriminating luxury homeowner is looking for.
Andrews Foulet:
Located right off Cherry Hill Road heading towards Princeton Ridge the Andrews Foulet
neighborhood was built in 1990.
With only 67 homes, this small but beautiful neighborhood offers
traditional colonial floor plans with more modern amenities and finishes.
The neighborhood is very
convenient to downtown Princeton and the Rt. 206 corridor offers an easy commute for its residents. It
is also close to some of Princeton’s private schools including Stuart, Princeton Academy and Princeton
Day School.
The Lake Properties:
Waterfront living is a commodity, especially in Princeton where there is very little
waterfront property.
Lake Carnegie, named after its creator, Andrew Carnegie, offers the opportunity to
live with waterfront views.
Spanning the northern edge of the Lake in the Riverside section of Princeton,
the houses vary from the original capes and ranches that are on the lots to modern mansions with walls
of glass to enjoy the natural beauty of the lake.
The lucky homeowner gets a birds eye view to the
University crew boats as they race past and the mist that lifts off the
lake in the morning.
